Located off of Shermantown Road in the southern part of North Kingstown, the Glen is a fabulous and upscale neighborhood of homes that

was established in the mid-1990’s and is considered in the Saunderstown zip code.  These RI real estate homes are primarily of Colonial design in keeping with the heritage of its foremost waterfront village, Wickford Village.

In the Glen, you will find homes with an acre to several acres of land, homes with over 3500 square feet of living space is the norm (though you may find smaller size homes too), 4 bedrooms, 3 car garages, high end kitchens, stone fireplaces, central air and more.
Upstairs in the homes, the master bedroom with have walk-in closets and private bath and perhaps a bonus room.

 

It is not unusual to see the hot air balloons overhead going to land in the turf fields

around the corner or a two miles down the road at the University of Rhode Island.  It is an up, up and away neighborhood that has a wonderful suburban feel yet you are minutes away from the music, sports and cultural events at URI which makes you feel urban!

 

Stunning landscaping and well kept lawns is the norm here.  It all makes the Glen neighborhood a restful place to be.  And sometimes the excitement of the hot air balloons overhead add a great visual to the neighborhood.
