words what I feel. The company of my kids was wonderful, enjoyable & I did not need to do all the cooking! Thank goodness for the great and sweet girlfriends they have.
From the stuffed tofurkey, turkey breasts, caramelized sweet potatoes and quinoa to the splendid homemade apple turnovers, it was a day of Thanksgiving for all…we all feel blessed in our lives.
Walking on the beach before the kids arrived provided solace in the day. The Narragansett Bay was calm and like a mirror as I walked the beach…my neighborhood was a ghost town…everyone had left for grandmas homes I presume. It was the Thanksgiving aftermath that provided the quiet peace of life…my slice of life how about you? I hope you felt the joy today of family and friends.
