Yet, the past two months of the year Jamestown real estate market in 2016 showed a 225% increase in home sales as compared to the first two months of 2015. - Sales currently pending: 9 (5 homes pending last month)

- Jamestown waterfront homes had 2 luxury and waterfront homes sold. The highest price home sold this month for $1,312,500.
- 8 Jamestown RI homes sold this month is as follows: 0 home sold under $300,000, 2 homes sold between $300,000-$400,00, 4 homes greater than $400,000 but less than $1 million and 2 homes sold for over $1 million.

The Jamestown home market went from 4 homes sold during the first two months of 2015 to 13 homes sold in the first two months of 2016. Home sold 2016 values so far increased by 30% over 2015 (first two months) to $716,000 on average.
This is the real estate news for home sellers they want to hear and buyers will need to pay more for homes in Jamestown now. But it is a long term investment for any home buyer.
