  • Sales price to list price ratio: 94% (stayed the same)
  • Average days on the market: 83 (down by 94%! over prior month)
  • Sales currently pending: 28 (up by 47% over prior month)

  • Narragansett homes sale absorption rate has increased to just over 10 months worth of home inventory. Yes, it is still a buyers market it appears here.

  • Breakdown of the 17 Narragansett RI home sales in June  is as follows: 4 homes sold under $300,000, 7 homes sold between $300,000-$400,000 and 6 homes sold over $400,000.  In June, the $300,000- $400,000 home market was the one that generated the most buyers interest.  
  • The luxury oceanfront Narragansett home market continues to be of buying interest.

Current home sales are down 23% over the prior month, home inventory was up by 5% and pending homes in contract were up by 47% over the prior month.  So the interest in Narragansett homes continues.  Single home prices are down by 23%  and the number of home sales are down 29% for June 2013  over June 2012.   Actually the last couple of months this Narragansett home sales market has been up and down.

The Narragansett home sales market has been a stronger selling market this past year.  It is expected to remain strong in 2013 yet it has a lot of home inventory to sell.
