5 homes sold for over $400,000
5 homes sold for between $300,000-$400,000
7 homes sold for less than $300,000
In December 2010 there were 194 South Kingstown homes on the market which is a 15% decrease in the number of homes over the prior month of November 2010. The home inventory has dropped considerably again for the second straight month. The choice in homes is still available at good prices and buyers are actively looking to make their purchases now as mortgage rates still remain at historically low levels.
South Kingstown RI homes sold for December 2010 were down from 22 sold the prior month to 17 homes sold. With the holiday season this is not an unusual pattern. Pending home sales remain up which is a strong indication that South Kingstown home sales remain upbeat. Waterfront South Kingstown RI homes were not being closed this month which is unusual instead it was the homes under $300,000 that were attractive to buyers.
South Kingstown pending home sales continues to be strong with 27 homes in contract agreement by month end. There was 1 less home in pending than the prior month indicating that demand remains steady as buyers still are actively looking for the right price, location and condition of home in South Kingstown RI.
