The East Greenwich RI housing market October 2018 has decreased in home sales as fall weather is here.  East Greenwich real estate sales have increased by 71% over the prior month and pending home sales have decreased by 7% over the prior month.  Buyers are still out searching for the property that satisfies their needs in this community that are priced right.

The East Greenwich home sale market in 2018, so far, has the number of home sales down 2% in 2018 as compared to the same time period in 2017 (January-October) with home sold values up 6%.   There were 196 homes sold January-October 2017 as compared to 200 homes sold in January-October 2018.  The average home sold price during the period in 2017 was $486,000 as compared to $517,000 for an average sold price so far in 2018 ( 6% increase in home sold values).  The average above ground square foot cost of a sold home in East Greenwich so far this year is $216.
