Spring Ahead 1 Hour Sunday Morning!

Spring Ahead 1 Hour Sunday Morning – Rhode Island!

Well you have to give up some time to enjoy time on the back end

Daylight savings time on sunday march 11

Remember to Spring Ahead Sunday

remember.  This Sunday March 11th you will lose an hours sleep unless your are better than me and can tell that body clock it is not wake up time.  Yes, it is finally daylight savings time.

So Saturday night put all your clocks ahead one hour so you don’t miss church or appointments or that great breakfast meet up you had planned!  It is just ONE HOUR that we spring ahead but it is like traveling between time zones for the body clock to know it just is not right!

This time change was mandated in 2007 as part of the energy program and only 2 states do not participate (not sure why!).  But we do here in Rhode Island and the spring ahead will always be the second Sunday in March.

March 11th at 2 a.m. lose one hour of sleep

Oh my North Kingstown Real Estate agent is coming earlier now!?

So you may not get the sleep your pet does but you will gain an extra hour of light in the evening for your evening jog, walk or sun wake time .  There is nothing like more spring daylight.  Plus do not forget to change the batteries in all your SMOKE and CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTORS!  This a must fire safety item to do.
