RI Bright Night is almost upon us and the activities, festivities and wonderful moments can all be experienced on December 31st in downtown Providence. It is New Year’s celebrations in Rhode Island real estate at its best.

This is the 10th year of the largest RI New Year’s Eve celebration and it takes place on Monday, December 31st! Please check this link for the schedule of events for day and night for New Year’s 2012.
Bright Night Providence is now run by local artists supported by corporate & city sponsors and citizen donations. With over 100 artists/performers in over 26 different venues throughout Providence locations.
Bright Night
is an artist-run, arts-oriented New Year’s Eve celebration that carries on the tradition of First Night Providence. Bright Night was founded in 2003 when First Night Providence was cancelled. The organization’s goal is to provide a fun-filled New Year’s Eve party featuring family friendly activities, performances, and exhibits.
Tickets for Bright Night Providence are on sale. Ticket prices are $15.00 for adults and $10.00 for children (aged 15 and under) in advance, and $20.00 for adults and $10.00 for children on the day of the festival. Purchasers who buy three children’s tickets get one free. Tickets can be bought online from the Bright Night website or at any BankRI branch and the East Side Marketplace.
