In December 2010 there were 149 Narragansett homes for sale which is a 14% decrease in the number of homes over the prior month of November 2010. The home inventory has dropped again for the second straight month. There is still a fine choice of homes available at good prices. Buyers are actively looking to make their purchases now as mortgage rates still remain at historically low levels.
Narragansett RI homes sold for December 2010 were down considerably from 22 sold the prior month to 8 homes sold in December. With the holiday season this is not an unusual pattern. Pending home sales remain up which is a strong indication that Narragansett home sales remain upbeat. Waterfront Narragansett RI homes for sale were strong in December as the higher end homes on the waterfront continue to be bought up by out of state buyers. Plus who can pass up the beautiful waterfront, views, ocean, coastal homes and just the amazing beach in this community!
Narragansett pending home sales continues to be happening with 12 homes in contract agreement by month end. There were 2 less homes in pending than the prior month indicating that demand remains steady as buyers still are actively looking for the right price, location and condition of home in Narragansett RI.
