1 Year ActiveRain Anniversary- It is Woo Hoo Good!
It all began here because I fractured two toes, was put in a boot to heal, and my normal crazy life style was put somewhat on hold. What was i to do with this free time? Aah, maybe I should venture into ActiveRain that real estate network I had heard alot about for years…worth a try I said. What a difference it made to my RI real estate career.
And so it began…floundering around here, yes and the servers were wretched then, reaching out to Real Estate Agents in other states or they would reach out to me, taking ActiveRain University courses (it was Brad & Steven who made it happen for me) to get that ‘aha’ moment (almost like Oprah’s!) about what I was not doing right or well. Being convinced that a Rainmaker account was the way to go and writing that first blog about short sales….some things just don’t change in a year!
It has been life changing being here on ActiveRain and learning so much more about the blogging world, connections of friends and associates, SEO & Google juice, and people I would depend upon in a heartbeat. Thank you to all who have blessed my life here with your infinite knowledge and who have helped me grow, I know, into a better agent for all my clients present and future.
Who would have known that people would find me from blogging about local neighborhoods or towns and reach out to me from distant places and ask me for assistance when they came to RI. I’ve made wonderful connections with some of these people I know will be long lasting…it is the ‘je ne sais quoi'( i know there goes my french again- I don’t know what) that adds to one’s life.
Can not deny that I am competitive, love the points and especially the Features with the Gold Star…i just love it.
There is no doubt I love my profession and what I do every moment even when things are not right. And ActiveRain just makes it all better sometimes. Thank you all…for that 1 year ActiveRain Anniversary– It is Woo Hoo Good!
