Polo Woods - North Kingstown

This was a customer call I received the other day after I uploaded the Youtube video I did on this great cul de sac neighborhood off of Shermantown Road.  Actually I was a bit surprised because I have not had a chance to blog about Polo Woods yet!  So it is a wide throw from left field (are my Yankees winning?) that arrives in my palm to explore.

A smaller neighborhood than its sister neighborhoods near by such as Slocum Woods or Quail Hollow, Polo Woods has a warm neighborhood feel about it.  Homes in Polo Woods tend to be on about a half acre of land and are Colonials.  You will find manicured yards and a basketball hoop here and there along the roadside.  Two car garages are the norm too.

The homes in Polo Woods may have granite kitchens, central air, 3 to 4 bedrooms and more than 2 full baths.  Living space will be around 2000 square feet but with most with finished basements adding more living space to the house mix.  This North Kingstown neighborhood was built in the late 1990′s primarily.

It is about 15 minutes from historic Wickford Village and the shopping plazas in North Kingstown and minutes for travel north to Providence or south to the beaches of Narragansett and beyond. Oh, and don’t forget the blue ribbon schools here that North Kingstown is known for.   There is much to appreciate about the Polo Woods neighborhood and it may be just the right location to establish roots within this southern RI town.
