This weekend it is time to watch the classic Herreshoff sailboats and other classic boats race in Narragansett Bay from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.. It is a free event for spectators. Best viewing is from the East Bay along the waterfront in Bristol RI.
The Herreshoffs built one of the most renowned racing sailboats for the America’s Cup, the Reliance. It is a heritage that is to be honored by all who love the waters of Rhode Island.
