quarter of 2014 home sales are up 56% over first quarter 2013 here.  Yet home sales in Jamestown for March 2014  are down 71% over February.  The winter freeze on home sales just has not passed this town by yet.

  • Sales currently pending: 2 (up by 2 home over prior month)

  • Jamestown’s home absorption rate is still attempting to get out of a Buyer’s real estate market with many months of home inventory.  In addition, the luxury $1 million home resale market commands 44% of the current Jamestown home market.  This month luxury home sales are not happening in this community.

     

  • Jamestown’s home inventory increased by 1 home over the prior month, days on market increased by 1 month and list price to sold price decreased substantially due to only 2 homes selling.
