- Average days on the market until pending: 100
- Sales currently pending: 18 (64% more than prior month)
- Highest priced home sold this month was $ 4,025,000 in the So. Arnolda Rd. neighborhood.
Charlestown home sales for the first four months of 2017 with the 36 homes sold as compared to January-April 2016 when 29 homes were sold. The homes sold prices are 78% higher the first four months in 2017 as compared to same period in 2016 ( from $670,000 as compared to $377,000). This increase is due to the five over $1 million priced homes that have sold so far in 2017 (in first four months of 2016 no homes were sold over $ 1 million). This indicates that higher end home buyers in Charlestown recognize that the best home inventory is now so buy up!
