Town Hall of East Greenwich
Active homes on the market: 140 (+7% increase in homes for sale over the prior month)
Sold Homes in October: 8 homes (-30% decrease in sold homes over the prior month):
8 homes sold: 1 home sold< $300,000, 1 home sold $300,000-$400,000 and 6 homes sold >$400,000
Average home sold for $471,921 at 96% of list price and days on market was 87.
Median home sold for $481,000 at 95% of list price and days on market was 78.
Pending Homes: 9 homes ( -30% decrease in homes over the prior month)
Although the East Greenwich RI real estate market had a slump in October overall this year it is just slightly ahead in sales over last year for the same time period. Home sales have not started to show great signs of improvement yet.

Within the Kent County community this affluent community noted for fine homes, great East Greenwich schools, near malls and shopping and closeness to Providence airport and capitol city of Providence makes East Greenwich a choice town.
