In December 2010 there were 68 Jamestown homes for sale which is a 14% decrease in the number of homes over the prior month of November 2010. The home inventory has dropped this month. There is still a fine choice of homes available at affordable prices. Buyers are actively looking to make their purchases now as mortgage rates still remain at historically low levels.
Jamestown RI homes sold for December 2010 were up from 4 sold the prior month to 6 homes sold in December. A bit of an uptick in the market even with the holiday season present. Conanicut Island, as Jamestown is known as, has wonderful waterfront views from all sides and is where Beavertail State Park is located – all a great lure for buyers.
