Narragansett Art Festival June 26 & 27- Narragansett RI 02882. It’s the 28th Narragansett RI Art Festival this weekend June 26 & 27 at Veterans Park in bay side Narragansett RI real estate 02882.
This is a ‘true’ art festival with no craft vendors allowed. With over 85 artists participating, the weekend’s weather looks great and is complemented by the Quonset Air Show in the skies over head.
It is not an event to be missed. The hours of the Art Festival are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.
Located right at the famous Narragansett Pier in Narragansett RI this was the happening place for the well to do even
Narragansett Beach is the ultimate beach
prior to Newport RI becoming the in place to have a mansion built. I’m not that old but I’ve lived in Narragansett RI in past years and appreciate the great surroundings whether it’s the real estate, ocean, beach or great food it’s the place to go especially in the summer.
The artists will be exhibiting works of oils, acrylics, watercolors, pastels, graphics and drawings for all to enjoy and/or purchase. Caricaturist Bil Dougal will be on hand too for familial renditions. In addition, Pianist Sergei Novikov will perform both days his wonderful music for all to listen to.
This art festival is a free event for all who come and enjoy. You won’t go hungry because food vendors will be available as well as the great number of restaurants at Narragansett Pier to enjoy. The free Trolley service will be making stops around Narragansett so you can park away from the event and be shuttled to it. Remember it’s a ‘beach day’ in Narragansett this weekend for all us sun lovers!
This wonderful family event supports, with the money raised, vocational scholarship programs for South Kingstown, Narragansett and Prout school students due to the generous hard work of the Wakefield Rotary Club.
I’m sure to be there somewhere in the crowd on one of the days enjoying the artists work and supporting the worthwhile event. And afterwards I will be showing waterfront homes to a visiting client who is joining me at the Art Festival. I think it’s a great way to connect with clients at the same time as selling real estate!
