There were 27 East Greenwich homes sold in the month of June, as follows:

15 homes sold over $400,000

5 homes sold for between $300,000-$400,000
7 homes sold for under $300,000

Home sales increased again last month with a 17% increase over May! There were 120 East Greenwich homes for sale in June 2012 which was a minimum increase over the prior month. Currently, there are 9 luxury East Greenwich homes for sale over $1 million.

30 homes are Pending in East Greenwich in June awaiting closing. This is almost as large as the prior month which indicates that buyers are out in a big way buying Rhode Island real estate here.

Year to date through June 2012, East Greenwich home sales are up 20% over year to date 2011. However, East Greenwich home sale prices dropped by 10% in 2012 over the same time period (year to date June 2011) last year.

Schools remain a top attraction for living here (East Greenwich being one of the top rated state school systems).
